Besides the regular weekly tests and two terminal examinations, a screening test(Pre-Board Exam) is held at the end of the session before filling up of the HSEB's form. Only those students who are capable of securing the qualifying marks in the screening test are allowed to fill up the HSEB's form.

The college runs classes from grade XI to grade XII and prepares students for the Higher Secondary Education Board Examination(Nepal).

Promotion to grade XII is granted at the end of the annual examination in accordance with the promotion rules decided by the College examination committee. Normally, a student requires to secure at least 40% of marks in all the subjects.
